Care Philosophy: My care philosophy includes making my patients feel heard and cared for. Without these two things, little can be achieved through therapy. I carry out my work with a trauma-informed mindset in order to help my patients process through difficult experiences they have lived through in the past. In doing this, many patients experience a decrease in mental health symptoms. Paying attention to what my patients have experienced rather than what is proposed to be “wrong” with them is always at the center of my work.

Special Interests: I am especially interested in the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) research and use my education on trauma in my everyday work.

How can patients contact you if they have questions about their care plan?: Patients can send me a message through their MyChart account or call me directly (517) 748-5500 ext 3308.
