WIN-Centering | Group prenatal care and home visits.

Personalized pregnancy support—just for you

At the Center for Family Health, we know every pregnancy journey is unique. That’s why WIN-Centering offers both one-on-one support with a Community Health Worker (CHW) and group prenatal care through Centering Pregnancy—so you can get the care and connection that works best for you.

Group prenatal care is led by a healthcare provider (physician, certified nurse mid-wife or nurse practitioner) and Community Health Worker.

WIN-Centering

Women Inspired Neighborhoods Jackson (WIN-Centering) is a community-driven program that provides medical and social support for pregnant and postpartum individuals. Too many babies in Jackson die before their first birthday. Babies have the best chance when their moms are healthy. But, with all of life’s demands, our own health often takes a back seat. We are women helping women live their best lives. We connect women with tools to address their immediate needs so they can focus on their health and the health of their families.

How WIN-Centering Supports You:

One-on-One Care: Connect with a Community Health Worker (CHW) for personalized guidance and support.

Group Prenatal Care: Participate in Centering Pregnancy, a proven model of group prenatal care.

Beyond Medical Care: Get help with housing, transportation, food security, and mental health resources.

Ongoing Support: We’re here before, during, and after pregnancy—offering home visits, breastfeeding support, and parenting resources through your baby’s first year.

WIN-Centering Pregnancy

WIN-Centering Pregnancy replaces traditional one-on-one prenatal visits with group care. You’ll join a small group of expectant parents with similar due dates for prenatal checkups, education, and peer support. Each session lasts about two hours, giving you more time with healthcare providers than a typical visit.

Why Choose Group Prenatal Care?

More Time with Your Provider: Each session offers extended time with a healthcare team.

Hands-On Learning: Take an active role in tracking your health throughout pregnancy.

Built-In Support System: Connect with other parents-to-be in a comfortable, welcoming environment.

Better Birth Outcomes: Studies show Centering Pregnancy reduces preterm births and boosts breastfeeding rates.

No Wait Times: Skip the waiting room—your sessions start and end on time.

Plan Ahead: All your appointment dates are scheduled in advance, making planning easier.

Bonus Perk: Enjoy free nutritious snacks during group sessions!
