Kellie Simpson – Immunization Coordinator

Kellie has been with the Center for 13 years; she began as a clinical assistant in Pediatrics.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Kellie has played an important role in the Center’s vaccine efforts, including helping with its mobile vaccine clinics. She is also involved with the Center’s mobile vaccination clinics for other immunization efforts.

“I like working with the mobile clinics,” she said. “I like to get out to the patients who can’t come to us.”

Kellie says that one of the highlights of her job is the opportunity to see the kids who she vaccinated as babies grow older through her work with local schools.

Kellie is currently enrolled at Jackson College, where she’s pursuing her goal of becoming a Registered Nurse.

“Kellie is an amazing person and employee. She is very dedicated to the Center for Family Health staff as well as to our patients,” said Center Manager Tracy Van Buskirk.

“Her knowledge and guidance as our Immunization Coordinator has helped us improve as a team overall and we are better able to provide the best outcomes for our patients.”

When she’s not studying or spending time with her son, Kellie enjoys sports and traveling to visit family and friends in Florida.
