Board of Directors |
A unique aspect of community health centers is that they are consumer driven, more than one half of the Board of Directors are patients of the Center. At each monthly Board meeting, the insights of the consumer members provide a valuable perspective on our operations. The Board is responsible for ensuring that the Center complies with Federal, State and local regulations and is financially viable.
With different skills and backgrounds, our Board Members work together to make decisions about how the Center for Family Health can best serve our community. Board members participate in discussions and review presentations related to policy, budget, and patient issues. Our Board, along with additional community volunteers, participates in the following sub-committees:
- Finance/Facilities Committee
- Quality Improvement Committee
- Public Relations Committee
- Board Development Committee
Our Board is not compensated and volunteers their time. We are grateful to them for their dedication and hard work.
